What Happens During A Skin Booster Treatment? | Helen Hunt
written by Helen Hunt

At Helen Hunt, we offer a few different skin care treatments to improve skin quality. Each focuses on a different problem area — such as general skin quality, lines and wrinkles, laxity, and remodelling.

Let’s take a look at our skin booster treatments, what happens during each, and who might benefit from these unique skin care treatment options.

Profhilo

Our Profhilo treatment is ideal for those experiencing dull, tired-looking, thinning, or ageing skin. Think of it as an internal moisturiser. It boosts skin health to improve the texture, tone, and hydration level of your skin. It also has a positive effect on fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing their appearance.

It is made from 100% hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring substance). Each treatment involves injections of hyaluronic acid in the face, neck, or décolletage area to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and draw moisture to the treated area.

Clients notice an improvement in their skin in around two months, and we usually recommend two treatments with a gap of one month between.

Sunekos

Our Sunekos treatment is also suitable for those with dull, thinning, or ageing skin. Whether you want to focus on improving texture, tone, or minimising fine lines or wrinkles, Sunekos targets multiple areas of skin health.

It uses hyaluronic acid and amino acids, which are injected into the eye area, mouth, or cheek skin, as well as the neck, décolletage, and hands. Four Sunekos treatments are recommended at 7-10 day intervals. You will probably see a change in your skin after the second treatment or two weeks.

We can chat with you about the difference between our Sunekos 200 and 1200 treatments.

Redensity 1

The Redensity 1 treatment uses a product that contains a high concentration of natural and free hyaluronic acid with antioxidants, amino acids, minerals, and vitamins. It helps to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin to make skin brighter and firmer.

It is suitable for anyone experiencing dull, dehydrated, or ageing skin. Three treatments are recommended with three-week intervals separating them.

Micro needling skinpen

Our Micro needling SkinPen is a skin remodelling treatment that harnesses Collagen Induction Therapy to improve the appearance of skin issues like acne scars, fine lines, and abnormal pigmentation (Melasma, Vitiligo, and sun damage). It works by triggering the skin’s natural wound-healing process, which stimulates collagen and elastin production.

During your treatment, we will apply a topical anaesthetic so you’re comfortable during the session. We will then carry out the SkinPen treatment and a LIFT Hydrogel for easy gliding.

What to expect during your skin care treatment

All our treatments are extremely safe and don’t require downtime after the session, making them a relaxing, stress-free experience. Our tranquil ambience provides the perfect backdrop to our treatments and means they feel calm and rejuvenating.

During your session, we will chat with you about your chosen treatment in greater detail, what to expect from your results, and how to best care for your skin in the weeks and months following your session.
